Industry Credit
Groups

We host national, regional and local credit groups in agriculture, animal health, bio-fuels, construction and steel. These forums use industry-leading technology to help your business evaluate risk, while also providing you opportunities for networking and education.

An industry credit exchange group is an association of credit professionals from the same industry who meet on a regular basis for the primary purpose of exchanging credit information, including customer payment history and industry trends.

Credit groups are an effective management tool.

They permit credit professionals of different companies servicing the same customer, regardless of industry or trade, to compare information on collection history and provide a forum for the exchange of data as to the most recent payment practices. The purpose of exchanging information is to help group members segregate fiction from fact, so individually competent and realistic credit decisions about a customer can be made.

All NACM Heartland industry credit groups follow antitrust guidelines. Antitrust laws promote business and limit monopolies and anti-competitive behavior. NACM antitrust guidelines limit exposure to claims of anti-competitive behavior in the industry group environment.
